1. Core Connectivity and Integration Enhancements

Ford Logistics Integration (Automotive OEM)

We’ve reached key milestones in building secure, full-scope integration with Ford systems through both SOAP and REST API frameworks.

  • API and EDI Connectivity: Enables seamless exchange of logistics and booking data between our platform and Ford’s systems.
  • Real-Time Schedule Updates: Ford now receives verified sailing schedules and voyage details in real time. The integration supports multi-leg voyages and transshipment scenarios, ensuring full end-to-end visibility.
  • Booking Management Automation: Supports incoming VIN booking requests, with automatic voyage assignment and handling for partially accepted booking responses.
  • Tracking Integration: Connected with FreightVerify, allowing real-time tracking updates and enhanced shipment transparency.

Grimaldi Carrier API Integration (European Shipping)

The integration with Grimaldi has been significantly enhanced for more reliable data synchronization and compliance.

  • Data Consistency: The system now ensures accurate updates by automatically adopting Grimaldi-provided shipment weight and fuel type data.
  • Automated Customs Updates: Customs status automatically updates to Cleared when a clearance date is received, even if a status field is missing.
  • Resilient Data Handling: Unified validation logic ensures legitimate updates are transmitted even when certain fields are restricted.
  • EU Compliance Support: Enforces validation for mandatory shipment attributes, including engine type, for shipments within the EU.

Customs Declaration and AES Filing Automation

We’ve strengthened customs workflows to ensure faster and more compliant processing.

  • Dakosy Declaration Submission: Secure integration with Dakosy allows for direct export declaration submission. A new Customs Declaration UI helps users monitor status and manage filings.
  • Advanced AES Support: Supports the latest AES customs messages (CC528C, CC529C, CC599C, CC515C, and CC928C) received via Descartes, maintaining consistency with updated customs workflows.
  • Flexible Filing: Users can modify and re-file declarations under AES standards, improving control and reducing delays.

Multi-Partner and Terminal Integrations

  • Project44 Platform: The system now supports multi-manufacturer message handling via Project44, simplifying future partner onboarding.
  • Mercedes-Benz Passenger Car: A new command-line tool enables automated voyage submissions for manufacturer schedules.
  • JLR Vessel Validation: New vessel-mapping UI enforces code validation for Jaguar Land Rover shipments.
  • ICO Terminal (PNTS v1.4): Updated to the latest EDI specification to ensure consistent data flow and compatibility.

2. Smarter Yard and Activity Management

Efficient yard operations depend on precision and traceability. The Q2 2025 release introduces smarter tools for tracking, documentation, and accountability.

Activity Tracking and Accuracy

  • Calculated Outcomes: Activities can now calculate differences between “Before” and “After” values, enabling automated outcome metrics such as battery charge increase or pressure change.
  • Enhanced User Accountability: The system records both the user who started and the user who completed an activity, improving transparency.
  • Photo Documentation: Users can now capture, upload, and view up to 25 photos per unit from desktop or handheld devices for complete visual tracking.
  • Movement History: Each location change automatically stores the previous position, making yard movement fully traceable.

Yard Structure and Terminology

We’ve aligned terminology with global logistics standards:

  • ‘Stock’‘Yard’
  • ‘Stock Receive’‘Check-In’ or ‘Gate-In’
  • ‘Transport’ (internal)‘Stock Movement’

Additionally, a new “Checked-Out” filter lets users view departed inventory items by date, simplifying post-departure tracking.

3. Financial Control and Billing Flexibility

This release delivers a modernized billing framework that improves accuracy and control over charge management.

  • Inspection as Chargeable Item: Inspections can now be billed independently as primary chargeable items.
  • Independent Activity Billing: Specific activities within inspections can be billed separately for more granular cost control.
  • Transport Charges in Invoices: The invoice generation process now automatically includes transport charges alongside other billable items.
  • Dynamic Pricing Rules: Administrators can define formula-based or fixed pricing rules using operational variables (e.g., activity type, inspection outcome, vehicle make).
  • Transshipment Charging: Quotation forms now support transshipment ports, automatically splitting routes into multiple legs for accurate and automated charge calculation.

4. Reporting, Documentation, and Administration

New reporting and administrative capabilities provide clearer financial visibility and operational insight.

  • Shipment Profit Report by Voyage: See detailed profit and loss per voyage, including total sales, purchase costs, and margins.
  • Cargo Delivery Performance Report: Analyze delivery performance by time period, route, agent, and port.
  • Activity Performance Dashboard: Gain real-time visibility into team productivity, activity counts, and completion times.
  • Flexible Activity Reporting: Choose between Check-In Date or Completion Date filters for improved reporting flexibility.
  • OEM-Compliant Reports: Generate inspection reports tailored to partner formats and terminology.
  • Document Bundle Download: Download a full “Booking Set” (Bill of Lading, Dock Receipt, and Booking Confirmation) in one click.
  • Customs Document Access: Access and download customs clearance documents directly from the Units module.
  • Directory Profile Expansion: Define service routes and coverage by origin, transit, and destination.
  • Integration Configuration UIs: Manage manufacturer integrations, vessel mappings, and address associations in a unified admin interface.
  • Enhanced Clearance Visibility: View related item clearance statuses directly within booking forms.
  • Improved Unit Type Recognition (UTR): UTR logic now factors in Port of Loading and Port of Discharge continent data for improved accuracy.
