Harbor Maintenance Fees

A harbor maintenance fee is a fee that is imposed by the US Customs and Border
Protection requiring those that benefit from the maintenance of US ports and
harbors to share the maintenance costs. This fee is charged at 0.125% of the value
of items shipped via seaports only.
